OUR HISTORY

Spektra Drilling Canada’s roots lie in the acquisition of Mercier Drilling by Spektra Drilling Canada in August 2012.

Mercier Drilling was a well-established and renowned drilling contractor in the Val-d’Or area for its projects since 1980. This acquisition led to the creation of Spektra Drilling.

With the integration of Mercier’s experienced team and Spektra Drilling’s international expertise and management skills, the company rapidly expanded its operations. From its Val-d’Or, Quebec office, Spektra Drilling has ventured into new territories, extending its reach to Eastern Ontario and New Brunswick.
